구생법집 (俱生法執)과 분별법집 (分別法執)을 말함
1) 구생법집 (俱生法執) (끝없는 옛적부터 훈습성 (薰習性)이 있어서 중생의 몸이 날 때부터 함께 나타나 온갖 법에 대하여 실로 있다는 견해를 내는 집착. 심리학에서 말하는 집단무의식 (集團無意識) 참조)
2) 분별법집 (分別法執) (삿된 스승과 삿된 가르침, 그리고 삿된 사유 (思惟)에 의하여 일어나는 후천적 법집)

Two kinds of obsession to the Dharma: The latent, and postnatal or habitual obsessions.
1) Inborn obsession to the Dharma: This obsession comes from the inborn or latent habit accumulated for a long period of time. Cf. Collective unconscious.
2) The postnatal or secondary habit formulated by the evil influence of the teacher, the evil doctrine, and evil speculations.
