삼지 (三智)의 하나. 모든 존재의 총상 (總相)을 객관적으로 아는 지혜. 그러나 천태종에서는 성문･연각의 지혜를 말하고, 구사론 (俱舍論)에서는 부처님의 지혜를 말함

Omniscient wisdom, perfect knowledge, Buddha-wisdom, or total understanding of all things: However, there are two different views. The Tientai Sect sees it as the wisdom of the Sound-hearing Arhat and the Independently-awakened Buddha, while the Manifestation-only School sees it as the wisdom of Buddha. Cf.
