‘마음의 등불과 법, 곧 진리의 등불을 밝혀 네 자신에 의지하고 법 (法)에 의지하라!’ 이것이 부처님께서 제자들에 하신 마지막 말씀

Lit. "Light your own and Dharma candles." Make of yourself a light; make the illustrious Law your light. Rely on yourself and Dharma or truth, not on anything else. Be an island unto yourself, and take refuge in Dharma, not in anything else. It was the last teaching or testament of the Buddha.
