줄여서 사주 (四住) 또는 사주지 (四住地)라고도 말함. 번뇌를 네 가지로 분류한 것. 첫째 것은 견혹 (見惑), 그리고 뒤의 셋은 사혹 (思惑)
1) 견일체주지 (見一切住地) (욕계 (欲界)의 모든 삿된 견해)
2) 욕애주지 (欲愛住地) (욕계 (欲界)의 여러 가지 삿된 생각)
3) 색애주지 (色愛住地) (색계 (色界)의 여러 가지 삿된 생각)
4) 유애주지 (有愛住地) (무색계 (無色界)의 모든 삿된 생각)

The four classifications of the fundamental delusions, or misleading views and desires: The first is the delusion of percept, and the remaining three are the delusions of thought.
1) All delusions arising from seeing things as they seem, not as they really are.
2) All kinds of delusive thoughts in the realm of desire.
3) All kinds of delusive thoughts in the realm of form or the material world.
4) All kinds of delusive thoughts in the realm of formlessness.
