세 가지 덕목 (德目). 이 세 덕목 (德目)은, 이자삼점 (伊字三點) (∴)처럼, 동체 (同體)가 되어야 완벽한 열반을 이룬다고 함. 이자삼점 (伊字三點 )참조
1) 법신덕 (法身德) (만일 법신이 없다면, 괴로움의 과보가 다하지 않을 것인 즉, 어찌 열반을 이룰 것이며)
2) 반야덕 (般若德) (만일 반야가 없다면, 어두움과 미혹이 제거되지 않을 것인 즉, 어찌 열반 을 얻을 것이며)
3) 해탈덕 (解脫德) (만일 해탈이 없다면, 업의 얽매임을 면할 수 없을 것인 즉, 그것은 열반이 아니다)

1) The virtue or quality of Buddha's eternal or spiritual body.
2) The virtue of wisdom, knowing all things in their reality.
3) The virtue of sovereign liberty, or enlightenment.
