줄여서 삼취계 (三聚戒)라고도 말함. 대승 보살의 계법 (戒法). 대승과 소승의 온갖 계법 (戒法)이 이 가운데 들어있지 않은 것이 없으므로 섭 (攝)이라 하고, 그 계법이 본래 청정하므로 정 (淨)이라 함. 취 (聚)는 모은다는 뜻)
1) 섭율의계 (攝律儀戒) (온갖 악을 끊기를 서원함) 2) 섭선법계( 攝善法戒) (온갖 선을 닦기를 서원함) 3) 섭중생계 (攝衆生戒) (온갖 중생을 제도하기를 서원함)

The three consummate and immaculate precepts for Bodhisattvas: The reason they are called consummate is because they accommodate practically all the precepts that are imaginable; and the reason they are called immaculate is because they are originally pure without any defilement. 1) Vow to cut off all evils. 2) Vow to practice all virtues. 3) Vow to liberate all living beings.
