자성이 없다하여 가법 (假法)이라고도 말함. 지수화풍 (地水火風). 곧 일체의 물체는 이 네 가지 원소로 구성되어 있다는 것. 따라서 죽으면 모두 흩어질 이들 사대로 이루어진 이 육신도 따지고 보면 진정한 ‘나’가 아니다
