(1055-1101) 고려의 큰 스님으로 문종의 넷째 아들. 고려 천태종의 중시조 (中始祖). 시호 (諡號)는 대각국사 (大覺國師)

(1055-1101): The fourth son of King Munjong, and a venerable priest of Koryeo dynasty, who studied in China and restored the Tientai Sect of Korea from its decline. His posthumous title granted by King is Daegak (the great awakening) National Preceptor.
