유식 (唯識)에서 설하는 다음 삼심 (三心)의 하나: 1) 근본심 (根本心) (아뢰야식 (阿賴耶 識)). 2) 의본심 (依本心) (제칠마나식 (第七摩那識)). 3) 기사심 (起事心) (육식 (六識)). 이를 달리 섬명하면, 사물인 대상에 대하여 마음의 작용을 일으켜 육식을 감지하는 원인이 되는 마음

The dependent mind on things or phenomena: It is the third of the following doctrine of the Mind-only School: 1) The fundamental mind (the storehouse consciousness, or the eighth of the eight types of consciousness). 2) The mind dependent on the fundamental consciousness (manas), or the seventh of the eight types of consciousness). 3) The dependent mind on things or phenomena (Six aspects of consciousness or sense-media passing through the six gates, roots, or sense organs, or the sixth of the eight types of consciousness). In other words, it means the primal cause of the function of the mind that perceives the mind-objects.
