여리지 (如理智)의 반대로, 차별지 (差別智)와 속제지 (俗諦智)를 말함. 현상계의 수량과 차별에 응하여 그 차별상을 명백히 아는 불･보살의 지혜

The secular wisdom or knowledge: The wisdom attained from the examinations of the difference and diversity of the phenomenal aspect in contrast to the fundamental wisdom of knowledge. Ryang (量) means measuring or manipulating. Cf. (Yeoliji) The fundamental wisdom of knowledge.
