육욕천 (六慾天)은 모두 음욕을 여의지 못하였을 뿐만 아니라 각기 음상 (淫相)을 달리 한다. 다시 말해 음행 (淫行)하는 형식이 여섯 가지로 각기 다르다 1) 사왕천 (四王天) (인간의 음행과 같음) 2) 도리천 (忉利天) (인간의 음행과 같음) 3) 야마천 (夜摩天) (서로 포옹만 함) 4) 도솔천 (兜率天) (손만 잡음) 5) 낙변화천 (樂變化天) (서로 웃기만 함) 6) 타화자재천 (他化自在天) (남녀가 서로 처다 보기만 해도 음행이 성립된다고 함)

The six modes of lustful desires in the Six Heavens in the Realm of Desire: 1) The Heaven of the Four Guardian Kings: It is just like human beings. 2) The Heaven of the Thirty-three Gods: It is just like human beings. 3) Yama Heavens: They simply embrace each other. 4) Tusita Heavens: They simply hold hands together. 5) Joyous Heavens: They simply smile at each other. 6) The Heaven of Free Enjoyment of Manifestation by Others: Their lustful desires are fulfilled simply by looking at each other.
