Eradication of the defiled mind by revealing the true self-nature: When passion or defilement is cut off, our original pure self-nature will manifest by itself. Passion or defilement arises when our original pure self-nature is disturbed, just as a cloud arises in the clear blue sky.
Hence what people have to do is to realize their original pure self-nature and not to arouse or disturb the pure original face rather than trying to do away with passion which is but an illusion that has no self-entity.
