다도 (茶道)와 참선은 둘이 아니라든 뜻. 이를 행차 (行茶)라 말하며, 차 마시는 과정을 향･맛･색으로 구분하여 음미하면서 수행을 함. 이렇듯 진정한 다도 (茶道)에는 단순히 차를 마시는 것 이상의 뜻이 담겨져 있다. 다시 말해 한 잔의 차에 부처님의 진리와 참선의 기쁨이 다 녹아있다는 뜻. 다도 (茶道) 참조

The one exquisite flavor of tea and Seon: It literally means "the same flavor of tea and meditation," which implies that there is no difference between cultivation of the mind and a tea ceremony. There are three steps to appreciate tea and meditation: The aroma first, then taste and color.
