4) 중생은 항상 업의 감옥에 갇혀 있다고 생각하는 마음.
5) 중생은 항상 번뇌에 덮이어 있다고 생각하는 마음.
6) 중생은 항상 사물을 객관적으로 볼 수 없다고 생각하는 마음.
7) 중생은 항상 좋은 일을 위한 욕망을 포기했다고 생각하는 마음.
8) 중생은 항상 깨달음의 길을 잃어버렸다고 생각하는 마음.
9) 중생은 항상 생사의 흐름을 따라 간다고 생각하는 마음.
10) 중생은 항상 번뇌로부터 벗어날 수 있는 방법을 알지 못한다고 생각하는 마음.

Ten compassionate feelings of Bodhisattva towards all living beings:
1) Feelings that they are without a refuge to rely on.
2) Feelings that they are always destitute.
3) Feelings that they are always full of three poisonous elements.
4) Feelings that they are locked in the prison of karmas.
5) Feelings that they are always in the mire of afflictions.
6) Feelings that they are incapable of viewing things objectively.
7) Feelings that they have abandoned the desire for virtue.
8) Feelings that they have lost the way to enlightenment.
9) Feelings that they always follow the flow of life and death.
10) Feelings that they have lost the means to liberate themselves.
