정지견 (正智見) 또는 지견 (知見)이라고도 말함. 사실과 이치를 꿰뚫어 보는 안목. 의식 (意識)에 의해 아는 것을 지 (智), 안식 (眼識)에 의해 아는 것을 견 (見)이라 함. 그러나 선 (禪)에서는 알음알이와 분별심을 뜻하는 경우도 있음

Right view and wisdom: Wisdom or insight based on reason, or the insight or intuitive knowledge that penetrates reality and its law. However, in Zen Buddhism and meditation practice, it is sometimes regarded as intellection, intellectual knowledge and a discriminating mind.
