천수진언 (千手眞言), 대비심다라니 (大悲心陀羅尼) 또는 대비주 (大悲呪)라고도 말함. 이 주 (呪)를 외우면 시방 (十方)의 불･보살들이 와서 증명하여 온갖 죄업이 소멸한다고 함. 특히 밀종 (密宗)과 선종 (禪宗)에서 많이 지송 (持誦)하고 있다

The Thousand Eyes and Hands Bodhisattva Dharani: It is believed that if you keep chanting this dharani, all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas from the ten directions will come to verify, and all your sins will be eradicated. It is especially chanted by Esoteric and Zen Buddhism.
