이것은 현실적으로 볼 수 있는 것이라는 뜻. 이렇듯 불교의 특징은 그 근본이 다른 종교와 달리, 내세 지향적이라기보다는 현세적, 하나님 중심이라기보다는 인간중심, 추상적이라기보다는 실증적, 관념적이라기보다는 논리적이고 과학적이라는 것. 다시 말해 부처님의 가르침은 현실적으로 증명되는 것, 시간을 격하지 않고 과보 (果報)가 있는 것, 와서 보라고 말할 수 있는 것, 능히 열반에 인도할 수 있는 것이라는 것

Something that can be verified: Thus, Buddhism is centered on the present life rather than the afterlife; homocentric rather than theocentric; positive rather than fanciful, logical and scientific rather than abstractive.
In other words, all Buddha's teachings are something that can be proven, something that brings results in the present life not in the afterlife, something that can invite people to see and verify, something that can lead to Nirvana in this life without fail.
